On March 26, 2019, the opening ceremony of the joint faculty “Binary Graduate School” between the Tashkent Financial Institute and the Binary University (Malaysia) was held. The event was attended by members of the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister of Innovative Development, His Excellency Hendy Assan (Ambassador of Malaysia in Uzbekistan) and Tan Sri Dato Professor Joseph Adaikalam (Founder & Executive Chairman, Binary University), Professor Sulochana Nair (Vice Chacellor, Binary University) and Mr. Gilbert Alvin, (Director of International Collaborations) and the rectors of universities in Tashkent.

This faculty provides programs in the areas of Master of Business Administration (MBA), MSc in Accounting and Finance (by research), MSc in Information Technology Management from the 2019/2020 academic year. For students of the faculty there is a program of 1 + 1 or study one of the semesters in Malaysia. Faculty graduates will receive a double degree accepted worldwide.
